This is me...
I grew up in Port Elizabeth, South Africa until I went to university. I then moved to Cape Town where I studied Electro-Mechanical Engineering for 4 fun-filled years. I lived in Rondebosch with Bruna, my housemate and the following picture shows the view from my balcony. You can see pictures of Bruna and her boyfriend Nick in the Friends section of my gallery.
This is the robot that I designed as my final year thesis. It was a robotic platform used to perform 3D mapping and was controlled remotely using a joystick and wireless network. I have electronic copies of my thesis and more pics and movies should any of be interested. (I doubt that this will be the case)
Some of my hobbies include fencing and I fenced for UCT in three competitions. I really enjoy it because it combines excercise and anger management in one pain-filled package.
